In September before the autumnal gales, excursions along the foreshore of the Daugleddau estuary can yield basketfuls of tiny crab apples.
We gather and use these extraordinary fruit to prepare Coedcanlas Wild Crab Apple Jelly, We add only organic sugar from Cuba, Sicilian lemons and a little Coedcanlas honey.
Equally delicious with a baked Camenbert, hard cheeses, pates poultry and pork. Or simply on its own.
